When the most wonderful time of the year arrives and the temperatures begin to drop, the talented people of the haunted house industry come out to play with their new concepts and features. These regional, haunted attractions put on productions that are worth the drive and the admission prices. Check the websites for features, hours of operation, and ticket information and take in the mayhem.
Boogerwoods is a guided attraction that includes multiple haunts to give patrons a well-rounded fright experience. You may get a bit dirty and damp at this one, so dress accordingly. Check the website for dates, times, and policies.

Netherworld Haunted House is the undisputed king of haunted houses in the region. Netherworld has two enormous, walk-through, haunted attractions and there are escape rooms for a separate entry fee. You could spend an entire day exploring here. Don’t forget to check out the resplendent gift shop.

Just a short drive can get you to The Haunted Farm, a three part attraction taking you through a wooded trail, a farm, and a haunted hayride.

The Haunted Forest at Panic Point is an outdoor trail delivering scares all along the half mile path. Several smaller attractions are featured here as well, including laser shots at zombies. Wear shoes proper for outdoors.

Weekends in October see a transformation of this 170 acre farm into one of the scariest, haunted trails in the region. Scarrigan Farms has varying features along the trail that will transport you to new areas of terror. Get your boots on and prepare for the thrills of this attraction.

Kersey Valley Spookywoods is an enormous attraction which has a midway, corn maze, trams, and haunts that are certain to chill and thrill. The experience has been known to include the 1930’s farm house where the very walls will attack you. Make sure to visit the gift shop and wear sensible shoes.

Wompus Woods is an outdoor, haunted attraction based on the legend of the Wompus Monster featuring hayrides, concessions, and a souvenir shop. The website recommends against coming alone.
